Suzanne Lang
My Story
Suzanne Lang was born with the desire to be a healer. She aced the pre-medical program at Dartmouth College, but finding the Western approach to medicine lacking, Suzanne abandoned her dream of becoming a physician and became a poet, professor, and yogi. Eventually, she found her healing home in Ayurveda, the world’s oldest system of healthcare, and began her formal Ayurvedic training in 2014 under the guidance of her guru Ed Zadlo, d.Ay. She has been offering Ayurvedic consultations and workshops since 2016. Suzanne is a certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant (500 hour) and a certified Integral Vedic Counselor (500 hour) through the American Institute of Vedic Studies. She trained in Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis and marma therapy with Vaidya Mishra. Since 2009, Suzanne has taught yoga classes for adults and children, and she is a certified vinyasa yoga teacher (200 hour) with additional yin yoga training. Suzanne studies Sanskrit at UPenn and through the American Sanskrit Institute to deepen her Ayurvedic and Vedic studies, and she recently began studying Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) with Ed Zadlo.
