Question 1

How should I prepare for my first class?

Accepted Answer

To prepare for your first Iyengar Yoga class, wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of motion. It's best to avoid eating a heavy meal at least two hours before class. Arrive a few minutes early to get settled and inform the teacher of any injuries or concerns you may have. We provide all necessary props, so just bring yourself and an open mind!

Question 2

What can I expect in my first Iyengar Yoga class?

Accepted Answer

In your first Iyengar Yoga class, you can expect a focus on proper body alignment, individual corrections, and the use of props to help you understand the actions in poses. Classes are designed to be safe and systematic, allowing you to build skills progressively. Our certified teachers will guide you through the practice, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported.
